Mom’s, how many of you sleep with your baby?
Once you bring your little one home, it’s completely understandable and quite common to want to be close to your baby at all times. We marvel at the thought of our precious miracles that lay within our arms. We begin watching them, studying them, and bonding with them as they sleep. But there is caution to be had when sharing a bed with your infant.
Studies show the practice of adults and babies sleeping together can increase the risk of sudden infant death syndrome or asphyxiation. Babies can suffocate accidentally in excessive bedding or when parents roll over on them without realizing it.
