A staycation is a vacation that takes place at your home and within your town. With Summer approaching quickly, we have decided to come up with some very affordable, easy and quick staycation ideas that the young ones would absolutely love. Listed below are a few reasonable ideas that you can pick and choose from:

1.  Beach: Nothing says Summer quite like a trip to the beach, with the sand and sun on your skin and in your hair! You can build sandcastles, fly kites or go for a swim!
   
   
2.  Camping: A great thing about camping is that you can do it literally anywhere! From your backyard, to a private campground – you will be able to feel at one with nature, as you can play outside, go for a hike or build a campfire and have s’mores!
   
   
3.  Ice Cream Social: Either you can make the ice cream with at home ingredients, purchase ice cream beforehand or go out for an ice cream cone! It gets the family together, talking and enjoying a nice cool down before going on with their day!
   
   
4.  Journal: What better way to remember your staycation activities then to have your little ones write about them in a journal? This is a great tool as it can help improve their writing skills, story telling abilities and imagination.
