Wild Prairie Soap Company is a Canadian manufacturer of handcrafted bath and body products. Our goal is to create only the finest natural soaps and other great body products using top-quality ingredients. It is our pleasure to offer you our best unique skin solutions...naturally!

Located on Whyte Avenue, in Edmonton Alberta, Wild Prairie Soap Company's factory is always in full production. We manufacture over 10,000 pounds of soap each year incorporating over 5000 pounds of olive oil. Our soaperie technicians use age old methods which we have adapted to suit current ingredients and equipment.

Each bar is carefully hand cut and set to cure on drying racks for two weeks prior to sale. The entire soapmaking process takes approximately three hours from start to finish, with each batch making over 300 bars of soap.

We are one of the few soapmaking companies who use 50% olive oil in our soap, and although a more expensive recipe is the result, we choose to use a high percentage of olive oil for several reasons.

First, olive oil makes soap very hard, once cured, which ensures that the bars last longer than a commercially produced bar of soap. Second, olive oil, once saponified, helps to create a conditioning lather, so that the soap is not drying or harsh to the skin. Finally, the bars are superfatted 5% to make them perfect for any skin type.

- We use natural ingredients so all our products are biodegradable which means you can feel good about minimizing the amount of chemicals that are put into our water system. On a personal level you can feel good about reducing the chemicals coming in contact with your skin.

- Our soap making process is environmentally safe. All our soap ends are either used or donated. No pollution and no waste.

- All our ingredient packaging and product packaging is recyclable.
